11 month old male miniature pinscher

I just purchased a 11 month old male miniature pinscher last week and I have noticed that when he goes to the bathroom (number 1) outside he does not lift his leg or squat. he pretty much goes while he is running around the yard, which results in him going all over his legs and chest. He is not neutered but is going to be on the 26th. is there anyway to stop this from happening? I'm tired of bathing him ten times a day.

My first thought was to wonder if he might have a genetic defect such as dysplasia or luxating patella that would make it uncomfortable for him to squat or lift?  Talk to your vet.  Very few dogs are lazy about positioning, and most don't like to soil themselves.  This sounds a bit unusual.
