Cavalier King CHarles Spaniels

I am interested in getting a dog. I really like Cavaliers but want a dog who I can carry and take places with me and will fit in a dog carry bag. Is this breed suitable?

Hello Claire, Cavaliers are wonderful sweet, calm dogs.  If you get the smaller of the litter I believe this would work for what you want.  In general they do not get to be much more than 10 pounds.  I myself have a toy poodle and she has a carry bag all of her own and loves to travel with me to outdoor events in her bag.  Because she is only 4 pounds she is not to heavy over time for me to carry.  You might consider this also.  How much weight are you able to pack around for an extended time?  But for a calm loveable pet to pack around a Cavalier is a great choice.  Good luck and have fun, Cindy lou :)
