Seizures/black lab

My dog has really bad seizures and I cant afford her medicine. They dont really work anyways but I was wondering if I should have her put to sleep? I feel so bad for her. I rescued her from a shelter 3 years ago and she seems to be getting worse. What should I do?

Hi David,  That is a decision that you really have to make by deciding if her quality of life is being hampered by her illness and if you are unable to get it under control.  Have you thought of maybe finding her a home that might be able to afford the meds?  you could talk with your local lab rescue.  Sometimes they can find people willing to take in dogs with medical problems that need special care.  There are a lot of options to consider before you decide which way to go on something that serious.  Hope this helps,
