My Pomeranian had weird activity

Question
I have a 2 1/2 year old pomeranian, and he is at peak health.  Although last night, around 1:30 am, he was sleeping on my bed with me, and I woke up to him kind of freaking out while lying down on his side.  He wouldn't get up, but moved around the bed using his legs, and remaining on his side.  I have a very large bed, and for a pomeranian to make it all around the bed while staying on his side was very weird.  If he did get up, it would be for a short second, and he'd plunge his head into the blankets, trying to rub something off his face almost. His mane was soaked from him licking it, and the blankets had some slobber too.  When I turned on the light, he continued to do it, he didn't even seem to notice that the light was on, or that I was trying to calm him down.  This continued to happen for about a minute, finally he came to his senses, and tried to get up, but kept falling over, and was very much disorientated and scared.  Still being disorientated he threw up twice on my bed.  He has never done this before, and has no medical or health problems.  This morning he is fine, and happy as ever.  Do you think he could've been having a bad dream?  And made his self sick?  Please help me out! thank you!

Answer
Hi Sherie :-)

This isn't a bad dream hun. It sounds like Canine Epilepsy.

You will need to take your Dog to the Vet for a examination incase any medication is required. Next time this happens, keep stroking and talking to your Dog in a calm voice. He wont be able to respond but he will hear you and sensing you are near him will help him to relax more.

Epileptic seizures can cause vomiting, fainting, urinating and pooping after the seizure has ended. This is because during a Epileptic Seizure, Dogs lose control of their bowel and bladder.

Take care and all the best and please leave me a comment.
