for valentines i just got an 8 week old pit mixed and i am new to this are there any free websites where i can read on how to be a great parent to my baby this is my very 1st puppy and i want to do it right

I would highly recommend joining a dog forum with a lot of experts on hand to answer all your questions.

There are experts on this forum for everything from veterinary care to breeding to feeding.  There are also experts specifically for pit bulls who will be able to point you in the direction of websites with great advice for raising this particular very sensitive breed.
