Question
My puppy is 7 months old he is part shiatsu & Chou. Lately his balls have been looking a little abnormally large for his size. should I be concerned? what are the signs of abnormal genitals?

Answer
Monica,

Are the testicles just growing with the puppy, or is it disproportiant, like they are swollen? If your puppy has swollen testicles, he needs to see his veterinarian as soon as possible.  Swollen testicles and/or a swollen scrotum are symptomatic or a urinary or reproductive problem. Your veterinarian can also discuss the signs of abnormal genitals with you. Swelling or sudden enlargement is unusual though, and should be seen by a doctor.

An affordable way to eliminate the possibility of reproductive problems in the future is to have your puppy neutered. It's a safe, everyday procedure that will immensely benefit your dog's health. Usually, spaying or neutering helps with behavioral issues as well. Neutered dogs are less likely to show aggression.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you personally - I do recommend calling a veterinarian in this case.
