Chow moved to new home, having behavioral issues

Question
I have a chow that's about 9 months old, I recently moved from a wooded
area in CT to the city of Philadelphia. She came on the road trip with me and
had urinated once at a pit stop on the way. The minute we arrived I walked
her around the new home and let her become aclimated with the new area.
The moment I left the room she pooed once on a rug in the back room. Since
then (now 4 days later) I've not seen her poo again and have only seen her
urinate twice. She drinks plenty of water but isn't eating much of her dog
food. I'm wondering if she's under stress, and if that might be the reason she
isn't pooing. Why hasn't she pooed since she's been in the new house?

Answer
First of all, yes she is probably stressed, but also confused and doesnt know where she is supposed to go. You need to be patient and go out with her and tell her "go potty" and when she does, praise her with excitement. Give her a few more days and see what happens. My bet is it will turn out fine. Thanks
