Dry skin on Black Lab

Hello, I have an 8 year old black lab that has dry skin.  She is constantly scratching.  She does not have any open sores or any other symptoms.  She just has dry, flaking skin.  Is there something I can add to her food to help relieve the dryness.  It looks like a bad case of dandruff when I brush her.

Hello my advice is get her on  a high quaility dry kibble for senior dogs and go get some good Dog dandruff shampoo from a pet shop, soke her well lather her up really well scratching the soap into all the hair with your fingers and be sure to get every drop of soap off this such help her out....until then brushing the dandruff out will help.
