Question
Hi Charlotte,

I have a 3 1/2 year old boxer/lab mix, 80Lbs, that is obedience trained and house broken. We got him from a shelter when he was three months. Great dog. Over the last year or so I have noticed that he gets really scared during thunderstorms, electrical power losses (even those that occur without storms), people lighting fire crackers outside. Generally, any really loud noise outside. He gets to the point where he is panting like he just ran a mile and has really bad shivers. He doesn't bark. He'll come find us if were are home during his episode and never leaves our side. He will not go outside when he gets scared like this. It does not look healthy and I would like to know what can be done.

Answer
Hi Robert;
Hustle over to this site, read about what can be done with these massages, and ordr a video from there to learn how to do them.
I can't say enough about this method of animal massage.
I have used it for bout 15 years to cure fear of thunderstorms and other fears, aggression, excessive barking, pain relief from Arthritis and othe cripplers, and post surgery recovery. Gets them on their feet faster, and with less medications.

When they reach a point from fear that they can go into shock, they can die.
With my English Setter,and the Lab/Chow, they were  terrified, and one 5 minute masasage was enough to cure of it.
She was 1 year old, and we had a real sky ripping storm. Silky and my son't Lab/Chow were about to go into shock from fear.
I massaged the Lab/Chow and my grand daughter massaged Silky, for only 5 minutes with the calming massage we learned from the video. Both dogs laty down at out feet, and slept through the rest of the storm.
silky lived to 15 years and was never bother by storms again, or loud noises.
the Lab/Chow was 3 yeara old, and it cured his for life too.
