Question
I just came back from vacation and had left my new 3 month old puppy with a friend of mine at her house. When i  had came back my daughter had taken it to a friends house to spend the night. At her friends house she had realized her dog had an increase in bowl the blood was also bright red and the puppy had poor appetite. I was told that it was because we have been moving her around so much....do you think that would be the cause of the blood? if not what else can be the problem

Answer
Hi Nicolette, I know you are very nervous with having problems with your puppy but it hard for me to understand what you are trying to tell me, What I think you are trying to say is that you puppy is having blood in his feces?  If that is what your question is than a few things to look out for. 1)Worms, puppies can have blood in their feces and poor appetite when they have worms.  2)Parvo Causes blood in feces and a poor appetite, Is your puppy up to date with his shots?, if so than you shouldn't have to worry about this but if not, parvo is a very dangerous dog disease that many unvaccinated puppies get. 3) Can it be possible that your puppy ate something that got stuck in his intestines? 4) Did you change food brands, a change in food abruptly can cause puppy to get very sick. Please feel free to send any more questions you may have to me.  I will be happy to answer than for you, My Sincere Concern, Angela Jensen
