whats wrong with my dog

i do not know why my dog is not going his poop, and i am really concerned what should i do for him since he wont poop.

Is he straining to go and not producing anything, or has he just not gone for awhile?

You might try putting water in his food so that he is taking in more water, and possibly adding a teaspoon or so of canned pumpkin (the real stuff, not the pie filling). A 1/2 tsp. of mineral oil might also get things moving, but I wouldn't do all of these things at the same time.
