What should we do if our dog might have eaten glass?

Dear Martha,

Thank you for writing to me.

Please please please rush your dog to emergency IMMEDIATELY.  If you have to wake up your vet then do it.

In the meantime, take white bread and soak in milk and feed in chunks to your dog.  Sometimes the wet bread catches chards of glass and surrounds them so they don't cut up the intestines but there is no guarantee.

If you don't want to lose your dog to a painful death then you must get him to emergency.
