Question
our dog has a chewing problem not so much with his toys more with the carpet and garbage bags my childs toys and clothes how do i stop that?  we are considering getting a cage for him to be in at night and when we are gone but i dont want him to be always be in the cage(he spent alot of time in a cage before we got him thats why we bought him in the first place) any suggestions?  we will try anything thank you for the advice beforehand

A crate is a good idea when you are not home

But when he isn't what you can do is to buy a product called 'bitter apple' and you spray it on stuff that you don't want him to chew,you can buy it at any petstore and if you can't find that name brand just tell the staff you are looking for something to spray on stuff so he won't want to chew things

It doesn't hurt him,it just tastes bad
