Question
We have a 4yr old Portugese Waterdog does not listen.  But the main problem is that he bears his teeth and growls at people who come in the house. It isn't everyone comes in but most and he also does it to 5 out of 7 of the grandkids. It isn't like it is just when people 1st enter the home it is the whole time they are here.  My father inlaw just wants to throw a muzzle on him and not fix the problem but I fear for the children the most.  Is this a fixable situation??  Please help.

Answer
Type alpha boot camp into your webbrowser. You need to establish ;pack order in your home with you as pack leader. You also need to walk your dog. Power walk him forty five minutes every day. Get involved in an obedience class. This is absolutely fixable. Implement what the website I gave you tells you to do. WALK the dog and I mean every single day keeping him at heel. He'll calm down once he is sure of his place in the pack (NOT as leader) and once he begins getting some exercise.
good luck
