Are food allergies Hereditary?

I have a 2 year old Female that is is picture of a perfect dog, except she is allergic to certain dog food, I was considering berreding her so I would be able to keep one of her puppies, and give the others to my family members, but I dont want them to all have allergies. or are they something thats dormant and only surfaces occasionally

Some breeds are prone to air borne allergies and can be Hereditary,but not usually food allergies,although some breeds do have a sensitive stomach

If you do breed her,make sure the male she breeds with doesn't have any allergies at all,as i said some breeds are prone to stomach issues so chose wisely in finding a mate-so also talking to your vet is a good idea too

If you can get back to me and let me know what breed she is,I'll let you know if it is a problem in that breed,or just her
