Question
My toy poodle is 11yrs old.  He has just started eating cat feces.Does not eat his own feces. He is 12 lbs and in good health.  We are in S. America and  only Pedigree (of the name brands) is available to us.  When we go to the states we bring back a 'ton' of the Cesar small cans. He  eats a half a can per day plus about a handful of the Pedigree.  I am worried that it is something in the diet that is needed. We do not have cats but at the beach there are a few  hanging around.  We feed them  (third world country) Whiskers snd many times my two refuse to eat in the house, they want to eat outside with the cats. When they defecate in the flower pots the older poodle grabs it and eats before we can catch him.  This is a new behavior.

Answer
Ok Pedigree is ick, definitely not good food and neither is Cesar. I don't know what's available in your area, but look for something with no corn, wheat, soy or by products, no bha or bht.
Your dogs are looking for protein sources.
Let me know what you come up with and I will do some research on my own You might want to consider cooking for your dogs
