I need bit of help

Question
I think I sent you a message about a month ago. The message talked about my dog, Sasha, who seemed to be losing weight. You preceded to tell me to change her food to something better than Prescription Diet W/D (CRAP). Anywho, my question is in regard to inflammatory bowel disease, which Sasha has (I found out about this last week). Three weeks ago, I went to the vet and he gave me Viokase pills, which helped Sasha gain weight. But then she turned worse (she lost 1/2 pound to her 10 lbs. She used to weigh 13). Now she is on I/D. What can I do to help her control her disease? Since you're also a random person I have to ask another question: Since the economy is getting worse, my family can't exactly afford paying for Sasha's medical bills. I love her, but I am only 17 with a job that pays not enough. DO you suppose that I should give her up, for her health and my financial situation? she will return to the vet where i got her. Help? please?

I unfortunatly can't offer any advice on whether or not to place Sasha because of her medical condition, that has to be a decision you make with your family. I am glad to hear she would go back where you got her, and not to a kill shelter, so it just needs to be something you think about and take serious.

Right now, she is on exactly what she needs to be to control her IBD, to get it stable...minus the I/D. I just can't ever accept Science Diet RX diets. If I were you, I would cook for her, nice bland food to help her.
