lip sore

I noticed that our dog has a sore on the outside of his upper left lip. can I use peroxide on it, it seems to be infected. Or any other suggestions?

Is it a sore, puncture, blister or cut?

If you are seeing infection, I would go ahead and get him into the vet. Peroxide is great, but only at preventing infection in a small cut. He may need oral antibiotics at this point.
