Reaction to Sargeants Flea and Tick Med

My 10 mos pug uses Frontline but I ran out and she was starting to scratch so I bought the Sargeants.  Very bad reaction.  I bathed her in Dawn dish soap to remove as much of it as I can.  She seems to be doing much better but she keeps scratching her neck where I put it.  I gave her alittle benadryl but doesn't seem to help.  Any other suggestions that would help me avoid a vet bill?

Washing in Dawn is what's recommended. You can try washing that area again with Dawn.

Providing heath care to your dog when needed, is part of the responsibility of pet ownership. Not providing that care is nothing short of neglect. If your dog is still having adverse reaction to the topical treatment you used, then you have no choice but to seek treatment.
