two neutered males living together?

Question
Is it an okay idea to have two males who are fixed living together or will they
mark territory and fight? I have a male schnouzer who is 2 and fixed him right
away. I want to get a male yorkie puppy but worry they will fight or mark
territory in my house. My schnouzer does not do this now at all and is very good
with other dogs. They will be the only  two in the house.

Answer
You shouldn't have a problem as long as you remember to never have two that are at the same level of dominance. One should be more dominant, and the other more submissive. Just don't get one that is so dominant that YOU have problems with him. Really dominant dogs do have more of a tendency to mark, particularly if they are not trained well from puppyhood.

If you don't want to deal with the possibility of that at all, get a bitch and have her spayed before her first heat. Dogs and bitches usually tend to be the best combination.
