Unsocialized Aggression

Hello!  I adopted a 2 year old puggle Boston terrier mix.  She is a wonderful dog at home with me and my fiancee.  However when I take her around people or people come to my apartment she is very aggressive.  She has tried to attack 2 people and I don't know what to do.  I was able to meet the people that were surrendering her and they said that she wasn't socialized as a puppy.  I want to socialize her and not be worried about her attacking but I don't know how to do it.  I have tried treats and getting her to sit while people are around but she no attention to me.  Please help!

The best way to deal with this is to take her to obedience classes,a trainer can walk you through the best way of fixing problems,also training classes is a good way for her to get used to new things-so the best thing to do is to call up a number of trainers,and explain to them what you just told me-and go with the trainer that gives you the best answer
