Hey i have beagle basset male 6 months old now..i wanna know when is the right time to spay him,cause i get all mixed up some people say to wait until hes fully grown, some say u should spay him when his starting sexual behaviour .. .other question in My dog is really friendly but every time i walk him sometimes there's wild dog  ,and im afraid that the wild dog will attack him how to deal with it thanks a lot

In a case like this where opinion is so divided, I often say talk to your vet.  I don't like trying to tell a professional his business.  I find the advantages of waiting past 6 months minor and the proof of them weak.  I also support those saying earlier doesn't hurt.  

The wild dog is a problem.  Try carrying a few small stones.  Even if it wouldn't hurt much if you did hit it, usually throwing stones will chase off a dog.
