Sloughi Problems

Hi,

Me and my partner have recently taken in a Sloughi from a breeder in the UK. She is 2 yrs old and very well behaved dog, but has started to wee in the same spot on the carpet overnight. We have had her for approx 3 months now and has settled in very well and is obedient in every other way but this. We take her for a long walk everynight and she always go to have a wee before we go to bed but every morning is the same and in the same spot. Do you have any ideas on how we can stop this?

Confine the dog to a crate at night and she won't be able to potty on the carpet. Use a good enzyme cleaner to throroughly clean that area of the carpet to remove any odor that may be there, and try to keep her away from that spot as much as possible. Also, cut off all her water after 8 PM to try to keep her bladder empty during the night.
