Keeping dogs out of the garden

Hi i was just reading your answer to keeping dogs out of the garden and of plants, i was wondering how i can make or where i can buy bitter lime or apple spray? Thanks Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for writing to me about the dogs and your garden.  I would not suggest using bitter apple in the garden.  The rain will wash it way as will the dew over time and you would need so much that it would cost a fortune.  The best way is to either install a fence (it can be decorative) or use the electronic underground fence.   I personally prefer the decorative fencing as part of the overall design of the garden. It adds charm and keeps the dogs out of trouble.
