Hair Loss.

Question
I have a 14 week old "Chokie"(Chihuahua father and Yorkshire Terrier mother) who is losing hair around the eye's, bridge of the nose and the top of the head area.  He is not uncomfortable with this or scratching the areas and there is no redness or weeping of any sort, just hair loss.  Is this just part of him growing up or is it something to start getting worried about.  Hope you can help.  Thanks.

There could be several reasons for this:
mange...
hereditary
nutritional
ringworm

The mange is not the contagious type.  You will need to take him to the vet and have a skin scrape to see if that is it.

Hereditary  some dogs inherit this from past generations

Nutritional  The dog may need a good Vitamin/MINERAL  supplement.  This happens a lot.  Also terriers need a high fat diet to maintain good skin condition.  Try giving him omega 3 fatty acids. If there is no improvement in a week  take him to the vet.

Ringworm or a yeast infection.  This is common in all dogs depending on where they have been.  These things can be picked up from the ground.
