Why wont my dog eat any dog food?

I havr tried my almost 2 year old pit on every dog you can think of wet and dry but refuses to eat any of it. I have been feeding him turkey burger, ground beef, hot dogs but then he gets to the point where he will not eat that. So my question is can help tell me a dog food that he will eventually eat and that I can keep him on?

Your problem is that your dog is controlling you and unfortunately he's spoiled. You're going to have to choose a feeding method and stick to it. Give him the measured correct amount of food in his dish at the same time every morning and evening. LEave it down for no longer than thirty minutes. NO begging or pleading or cajoling or special additives. Put it down,. ignore him and pick it up at the end of thirty minutes. Use a timer if necessary. Then NO TREATS nothing until evening, offer food again,. repeat. Eventually he WILL eat. As to suggested diet., this is a great website. Itll give you lots of breed specific information. Remember NO TREATS in between and dont' even glance his way to see if he's eating., no response whether he eats or doesn't eat.  He won't starve though he might let you think he is going to:)
