Question
I have a 1 1/2 year old female Cavalier King Charles.  She is currently on Iams dry dog food but has no interest in eating it.  I recently decided to try the Iams canned food and she loved it.  I was told by my son that I shouldn't be giving her the canned food to replace the dry food.  Is this correct and why?

Answer
Pam, I am not a fan of the Iams brand at all.  It is an ok food, nothing special about it.  YOU can use the Wet food along with a dry food.  HOW about you get some Innova or Wellness brand of dry food and place the Iams canned food on top.  I would do mostly dry with a little bit of wet mixed on top.
YOU can also get some Pure salmon oil and place that on top - just a teaspoon 1 x per day.

Also, if your King Charles kid is not eating all that well please get a good supplement/ vitamin like this:

BEST wishes with your kid...
If you can't find Wellness or Innova, let me know...I can suggest another brand.
