Sojos grain free dog food for kidney problems in dogs

Question
My dog is a 13 year old Jack Russell with kidney disease.
She is taking Omega 3 and enalapril for high blood pressure.
She was first diagnosed with high liver enzymes over 11/2
years ago. The levels came down to just above normal, but
then kidney disease developed from there.  She is also
receiving sub-Q fluids 1 to 2 times a week. She would not
eat KD dog food so I've made homecooked meals and used low
protein canned or dry food.  I read an answer to another
question and you recommened Sojos grain free dog food that
you add meat to or protein. (Question 6-8-2009) Would this
be a good choice for my dog?  It is very hard to get her to
consistenly eat at times.  Do you have any other
suggestions?  Thank you so much for any help.

Answer
Debbie, SoJo's is a great product.  You can use this with some Ground cooked lamb as a meat choice.  I would do this brand of food about 1 week per month.  ( alternate with your other options, too)
You dog has many problems and it may be good to mix up your home cooking with the SoJo's option.  Make sure it is the GREEN bag and that is the only one that is grain free.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck
