JRT peeing on couch!

Question
My JRT is about 6 months old and has done excellent with house training, but in the past week he has went pee on our couch twice also has went pee on the floor a few times. We have changed nothing and we dont know why he has started doing this. We do crate him when we are gone, which is not often. We also do not let him run around the house alone, he is either  leashed to us or a post in the house.

What is going on? Please tell me you have a cure!;)

Dogs do strange things to get our attention if they feel neglected or just to spite us in ways also.?
Clean your couch with citrus orange cleaner.
JR's are hardy full of energy dogs.  They need daily exercise also.
Make sure your taking him out often he is yet a puppy.  Lift the water at six p.m also, feed last feeding at 4 p.m.
Get a clear runner for carpets and turn it upside down so the prickles are up and it cannot get on the couch.  It has its crate to lay in and does not need to be on furniture.  This is what I do to discourage my Shepherds not to even start with a cut piece laying cross my new couch.  U can use this anywhere he might go for he will not walk on those pinchy prickles that go into the carpets.
He should be neutered also.  Makes better pets.
I feel he is going through a dominant stage, bear with him, get the clear runner, lay on couch and chairs and discourage him using furniture.
I would keep him in one room gaited off rather than a leash on, this might be making him do this out of spite, he is sick of being tied up.  Lay papers down at the same door u will always exit in case he decides to go.  He does not need to be with you until your certain he is broken.  I would never keep a leash on a dog.........period!  This will make him do things out of spite too.  TRy and be positive, patient and he will straighten out.  Get him out to run daily.
