Question
After years of having a stressed out dog, after every groomers visit. (and yes I did try different groomers) I bought my own equipment and groom both my poodles myself. My only problem is their hair(fur?) never has that fluffy puffy look that a professional groomed poodle has.  What am I not doing in the comb out that makes them look like a bad hair day ever day :)  Thanks

Answer
That fluffy look comes from blowdrying and fluffing at the same time.  After the bath poodles need to be dried with the dryer while pin brushing the coat out straight.  You can also do tihis without a bath by spraying the coat down with conditioner mixed in water and then drying and brushing out.  Also its important to remember never to brush a dry coat.  You should always mist it before brushing.  This will help the hair from being broken as it is brushed which will also lead to the bad hair look.
