LIVER SPOTS ON BELLY

We just adopted a perfect little 99% poodle mix.
He has lots of energy, doing great, but I have noticed in the last 2 days that liver spots have appeared on his belley and they are getting darker.  Could this possibly be liver failure?  We did feed him some of the products listed, but none of the serial #'s matched.  He seems fine except for those spots getting darker.

Its highly doubtful that its liver failure.  Its probably due to the sun hitting his skin and darkening from the ultraviolet light.  Was he groomed just recently?  He could also be spotted as he may carry the parti gene and it shows in the skin where sometimes you may not see it in his coat.  However due to the problems with the food I would take him into the vet and have her looked at to be on the safe side.  Now remember this recall isnt for the dry food so far its only for the canned food and wet pouches.  If you are feeding your dog canned food get him off NOW!  Canned food is terrible for dogs and ruins their teeth.
