Std. Poodle color determination

I am purchasing a std. poodle pup from a breeder outside the USA and the father is red and mom is a black & silver and some of the siblings are black, silver and chocolate but he kind of looks like choc.silver when he was born but now he outer fur looks light (blonde) but his under coat looks dark.   The breeder states he is not sure of his color and I would like to send someone pics of this pup to get an idea of what color he is.

I would really have to see pictures to even hazzard a guess.  But that is ok because you emailed me privately so you can just send the pictures and I will try to help you with his color.  I would also hasten to add that you should be very very careful about purchasing from overseas, and only purchase from kennels that are well known.
