Poodle changing Color

Question
My dog, a cavapoo (cavalier king charles spaniel/poodle) has developed a white
almost bristly patch of fur on his rump.  His original color is auburn.  Is there
any way I can stop this?  The father was the same dark red/auburn colored as
my dog and his mother is a red and white cavalier.

Hello Lauren,
I am not really sure what would cause your dog to develop this course patch of hair on his rump.  The only thing I can think that might cause it would be some kind of skin irritation or maybe a hot spot that was there.  
You might want to contact your Vet and just ask them if they know what could be causing this.  
Other than that, I am not sure what this could be.
