Question
Kim, I began feeding Scarlett, with the intentions of giving her the best, the Pitcairn diet. I cook all her food, which is 100% organic. The problem is that she has become very finicky. She will refuse the vegetable and vitamin/mineral matter. She just picks out the meat (lamb, chicken, bison, venison, salmon.) I am worried that she is not getting all of her nutrients and she will NOT eat any commercial food. As she is 9 years old, I want to provide optimal nutrition for her. Can you help?

Answer
Hello again,
You might try making the food into meat patties and cooking them first to see if she will eat them better.  Grind the meat up and mix it into the food then fry it up like you would a Hamburger.  You can then break it up in with her dry diet or just give her 1-2 patties per day (whatever is = to the amount she usually eats daily).

See if she will eat it this way, because all the veggies are mixed up into the patty.

Give it a try and if she doesn't eat it like this, let me know and we will come up with something else.

Have a great day and My prayers and well-wishes towards you and Scarlett.
Kim
