2 Jack Russells?

Question
We have a 6 year old male (not fixed) short leg jack Russell. He was given to use at age 4 years. The people couldn't take them where they were moving and he adjusted very well. He even got along with our then cat; she however thought differently but learned to get along and even play. We also have a mini hamster who runs in her ball and he could really care less. We are being asked to take a 6 month old female jack Russell (fixed). For the remaining summer (about 7 weeks) they will not be alone. Once the kids go back to school they will be alone 8-9 hours a day. Our JRT is okay with this though. Do you think we will have any problems?

Answer
Hello. The puppy might have some accidents when yuor at work and yuo can NOT leave the two dogs free in the house together you must never leave two terriers unsupervised they do fight...I've a male jack russell terrier and female boston terrier both Fixed and they start to spat over toys/chews whenever I turn my back and they can Not be left alone together or there would be blood shed. You can crate the puppy when yuor not home. Also since he was an only dog for sometime he will take some time to adjust to having a new puppy in the home. Jacks are very jelus dogs as well so you must be pacient with the two dogs. Terriers are also very dog agressive but you can have multiple terreirs in the same household if you are constant in watching over them as a fight can take place over the dumbest thing....a chew toys/rawhide/food bowl or fighting for attention.
