Breeding.

I have a 10 month German Sheperd.  I was wondering how I go about studding him.

Hi, First you want to wait until he is at least a year as you want him fully grown before using him for stud.  Also, you would want to have his hips x-rayed before you breed to make sure he doesn't have hip dysplasia as that will be passed on to his offspring.  You can't certify his hips until he is 2 year of age.  Most people will not breed to him until his hips are cerified.  Once you get his hips are done, you could advertise in local papers, but again, most people will want his hips done first.  Hope this helps,
