Blood in urine

I have a 7 yr old shephard who just (with in 24 hrs) started having blood in his urine.  His has been in terrific condition.  Yesterday, we brought home a friends female for him to mate with.  After a couple of hours together, I noticed that he had blood on his hine two feet and this moring noticed that his urine had blood in it.  Is this from breeding?  I am new to breeding.

Hi, Did the dogs tie when they bred (get stuck together)?  If so, it is a good possiblity it is from breeding.  I would keep an eye on him and just make sure that after she leaves that he no longer has any blood around,  Otherwise, you could take him into a vet to see if he has a urinary infection.  Normally that would take a little time to show, so the coincidence of her being there and him having blood at the same time would lead to the breeding.  Hope this helps.
