QuestionI have two german shepherds both males. My oldest is 3 years old who only has one testicle. My other will be 2 this march. I really do not want to have them fixed. But everyone tells me my oldest has to be because he has a greater chance of cancer. Have you had this experience? They are not show dogs I purchased them from a breeder in Illinois. They are great family lovable dogs. What do you think?
AnswerHI LINDA
DEFINATELY GET THEM FIXED TO BE HEALTHIER EVEN NICER PETS FOR YOU.
ESPECIALLY ONE TESTICLE, THIS IS GENETIC AND IT SHOULD BE DONE NOW. IT DOES ELIMINATE MALE CANCERS ALSO.
I DO NOT FEEL PEOPLE THAT WANT LOVING PETS SHOULD KEEP THEM MALES, THEY SHOULD BE FIXED FOR HEALTH REASONS AS WELL AS BREEDING THE WRONG DOGS. JUST A GREAT THING TO DO FOR YOUR PETS. THANKS
