Female GSD with other female dogs

My family and I currently have a 3 year old female Labrador/GSD mix and are thinking of getting a full bred GSD.  We would prefer a female dog but are concerned about fighting among the two.  I have been told that GSD females will fight but I was wondering if that would be the same with dogs of other breeds.  Our current dog has a very laid back temperament of the Labrador but does show the protectiveness and obedience of a GSD.

Hi Kyle,  Yes GSD females tend to fight with other females no matter what their breed.  It is a big problem in GSDs.  If she is showing protectiveness, then she probably will have the aggressive tendency to be aggressive towards other female dogs.  Hope this helps,
