I have been given a puppy from my cousin stating that it is a german shepherd.I would like to know how can i recongize it.I can send you a PIC of it.

I don't think this site does pictures.  You could send it to asklabman@yahoo.com but I am afraid I might not be much help.  Within a breed, purebreds vary.  Depending on what it is mixed with, sometimes crosses look more like a pure bred than some purebreds.  What you could do is go to www.akc.org and look at some of the pictures there.
