Question
Hello Sir,

We have a 3 and 1/2 month old female german shepherd dog. yesterday we saw that she had broken her two front small upper teeth and one was moving, we don't know why and how, but it has been done, can teeth grow again?
we giving her two egg daily with 1 kg milk and 200 gm pedigree food, is it enough in this age "or" is it low/high diet?
what food we can give her?
tell me the home food, fruit and vegitable?
Can we give him Boiled Rice?

Answer
The teeth may be nothing to worry about.  Like people, dogs shed their teeth and grow new ones as they mature.  She is about at the age where they usually start to lose their first teeth.

Canine nutrition is very complex but well known.  The eggs and milk could be giving her excess calcium.  Too much of it and some other things is bad.  She would be better off with little but the Pedigree.  It is the complete and balanced diet dogs need.  Feeding it and nothing else, she may need 400-500 gm a day.  With many Shepherds feeding them all they will eat they are still on the lean side, less than the ideal described at http://www.longliveyourdog.com/twoplus/RateYourDog.aspx  If you are feeding her all she will eat and her ribs still show a little, it is OK.  Don't let her become overweight.
