mixing

i am getting a 10 week old gs male pup,i already have a 4 yr old lhassa apso dog (INTACT).and a 4yr old female cat.
Will the new pup fit in ok,by this i mean is he young enough to accept the other dog or will they fight?

Answer
The older dog may not be pleased to have a new addition.  It also mayor may not want to play puppy biting games.  The cat certainly won't be interested in such rough play. permit them both to discourage the puppy form playing with them.  Once they have displayed a desire to be left alone, give the puppy a sharp ''Ah, ah, ah!'' and offer it a chew toy as soon as the puppy focusses on them.
