QuestionI just recently had my nine month old Bichon's hair cut short.I bathe him about every 10 days with Johnsons baby shampoo. As of late,I have noticed peculiar black markings on his skin that seem to be spreading. I did have another Bichon prior who had a few of these markings, but this dog has them all over. I am finding new spots every week. I know that its not an infestation of any kind because he is given tick/flea and heartworm preventative every month. Any clue as to what it is?
AnswerThis is my laugh for today. It's called pigment. Nothing wrong with it. Some bichon just have more pigmentation.
Reputable breeder that show love to have lots of pigmentation. Expecially around the eyes. We call those Halos. Nothing to worry about.
