Question
I bought a 9week old male bichon frise pup yesturday but im concerned about him.he isnt eating or drinking much but he is weeing and pooing.but he isnt lively at all he curls up all the time in his bed or under the table and hides iv tried to stimulate play but he really isnt interested he just curls up.is this normal? and if so how long would you say it would be until he becomes a lively pup its so sad seeing him like this

Answer
babies sleep alot on average 98% of their time at this age. I would just talk to him in a low voice and play with him , get on all fours and simulate his mothers play which will be using your hands to stroke and touch. HE WILL LIVEN UP ONCE HE TRUSTS YOU, REMEMBER HE HAS JUST COME FROM HIS MUM AND HE WILL FEEL ISOLATED AND LONELY, HE MAY NOT HAVE SEN MANY HUMANS AND BE POORLY SOCIALISED SO THIS ALL TAKES TIMES, HE WILL HAVE ACCIDENTS AT HOME PLEASE DONT SHOUT.
