my bichon wont stop itching

We are already giving our dog omega 3 tablets daily we have also changed her
food 4 times plus we have changed her shampoo. She just wont stop itching! We
don't know what else we should do! We live in the mountains so we don't know
if it is just the environment or if it is just stress? Please help us. Sincerely, Soby

OK this is what I want you to do and it isnt a short term issue rather a long one that will take patience.
Once this trial has been completed please get back to me .
Has the dog been tested for scabies mite, demodectic mange, does the dog sneeze, cough,has the dog ever had fleas, do you notice an improvement at any time ?


From today this is the dogs diet.
Day 1, 3, 5

1/4 cup ground oatmeal
150g white fish
1 chopped carrot
50g peas (can be frozen)
Goats milk yoghurt(probiotic)
1/4 pear
1000mg Fish oils daily(cold water fish oils)
1 tablet of lutein and bright eyes daily

Fresh water at all times NO Cows products at all
The occasional goats milk will be ok
Day 2,4,6

Ground oatmeal
shredded duck
mashed potatoes (NOT SWEET POTATOES)
25g butter
Goats milk yoghurt(probiotoc)
1000mg fish oils (cold water fish oils)
1 Tab Lutein with bright eyes daily
10 slices (thin) Cucumber

Day 7
1 Fiber diet capsule
NO OTHER FOOD
water and plenty of it

This should be done over 12 weeks.

Make a diary of what days you see the dog itch more or less, where it itches etc.The dog is not to have any other tablet at all. You bathe the dog in the first 3weeks with goats milk shampoo and aloe vera shampoo , use no other grooming aid at all such as scented products. In the following 9 weeks you use oatmeal shampoo or neem oil shampoo .

Once again you make a diary of what is going on etc.

I do think that you should see a reducement in the itching .
Remove all scented products at home , use no air freshners, carpet shampoos, carpet freshners etc.
Do not wear perfume around the dog during this trial.
Do not smoke around the dog during this trial
All the foods listed above can be mixed togather into little balls and stored in the fridege for safe use.
You must not use any other food during this trial.
