Peeing on floor

Question
Adult female pees everywhere on the floor up against a table legs anything lying on the floor, boxes, vaccum, etc. whether I am home or not. We have a doggie door, she is walked every day.  I am at wits end - I also have another bichon who is older but I don't think it is her. I never catch them so I really am not 100% sure.

Answer
Ok this is common but you do need to catch the culprit, otherwise you may be barking up the wrong leg of the chair !

Older females do suffer from urinary incontinence when spayed and treatment must be discussed with your vet who will advise best way forward.
If it is just a case of doggy scenting and females do do that, then its back to basics for her, treat as a puppy and toilet train all over again. One thing you really ust not do id shout or tell off as this simply encourages any dog to do it again.

I have a very well written article on my health site telling owners why they do it, its very long and informative and will often have owners crying afterwards as they discover that it simply could mean the dog is willing to lay their life down for you .

Unlss she has a medical condition such as spay incontinence I would suggest that this little simply loves you and it would be an idea for you to read tyhe article.Trust me you will see her in a very different light and will be able to resolve this very quickly by retraining her with affection
