Question
Hi, our little lady has started barking constantly, but everytime anyone
goes to stroke her or play all she does is bite your hands. It's starting to
cause issues as when anyone comes to visit she ends up being carted off
to the kitchen or garden as the older she's getting the more she hurts!
She is our baby and our lives revolve around her and I really don't want to
keep excluding her... Please help!

Answer
Hi she is just a typical bichon for that age, they go through a few development stages that means effectively they go backwards for a few months, then just when you are about to lose your marbles they go back to being the wonder dog you knew they were.Just keep up the training and positive reinforcement and all will be fine very soon.

Follow these instructions and see how you get along
1 When visitors come place dogg onto a leash
2 Walk to the door calmly keeping her behind you NEVER in front.
3 Before opening the door explain to vistitors to ignore her and walk past her no speaking or patting her. Pretend she isnt there.
4 Once she is calm open the door and say SIT STAY make sure she does that
5 If all goes well make her walk to the room were visitors are and once again say WAIT
6 remove lead then allow her to greet them, if all goes well treat her and say good girl in a high friendly voice.
7 After a few minutes the dog is to sit and stay or be removed to a new room with a toy to stimulate and congratulate her
8 Repeat this until she gets the message
9 If she gets it wrong start from beginning again NEVER shout or hit her
10 Always ensure she knows her position is after you and your family
