Question
I collected my 8 week old bichon last Friday. Every morning and evening, when he wants to play he will bite clothes and sometimes hands/feet. I really want to stop this as soon as possible but I don't know if i am expecting too much from such a young puppy. Pleas help.

Answer
This is called mouthing and its a normal part of a pups growing up life ,this is how they play with their siblings in a litter.

the best way to stop it is simply yelp when it happens , the pup will respond and stop.

Owners should not offer pups their hands, fingers, to teeth on, I see it all the time, they should not play tug of war or offer shoes , slippers or socks to play with.

Pups react to stimuli so if you shout or tap the dog then I can assure you the actions will continue as you are reinforcing the behaviour.
YELP and it stops.

I would also suggest that you crate train the pup , as before long this little puppy will be ruling your household.
