9 week old Bichon pup

Question
Hi,
I have noticed today that my 9 week old female pup had a slight bit of blood in her poo thismorning. She is wormed up to date and had her first injections last week.  She has a really fun temprement and it hasnt seemed to bother her at all, we have had her for over a week now and we have noticed no difference in her behaviour.  We have however been letting her in the back garden throughout the day to help to train her (which she is realy good at as when she needs to go to the toilet she runs straight to the back door) and im wondering whether she has picked something up there? Do you think that we should keep her in until after her second injections next week?
Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

Answer
In reality she still should not be outside, the vaccination protcol has not finished and you ARE placing her at risk significantly.

I suggest that you keep her indoors and start a good food regime, keeping her stools firm is the right way to approach any diet, do not alter the diet too quickly, any dietary change should take a minimum of 3 weeks.

Red blood in poop isnt a sign of anything other than maybe a soft stool.
