Nose colouring

Question
I am considering purchasing a male Bichon Frise puppy.  It is currently 6 weeks old and it's nose is a mixture of black and pink skin.  The breeder assures me the nose will go completely black over time (Bichons are born with pink noses that pigment over time), but I'm yet to be convinced.  The other puppies in the litter have completely black noses.  Is this lack of pigment considered a flaw in the breed and will the colouring remain or change to black over time?

Answer
First are you working with a reputable breeder.  Do they breed champions?  AKC is not an indication of quality.
Does the breeder CERF & OFA?  The bichon is the #1 breed for cataracts.  All reputable breeders have 3 generations
CERF & OFA clear to 8 years of age.

Also reputable breeder never place puppies before 12 weeks of age in this breed.

As for pigmentation.  Usually by 6 weeks the nose is black.
What about halos around the eyes?  Is there pigmentation.
